Eurotel Baguio Review - What Clients Say

EuroteI was recommended by a family when my son and I went to Baguio to visit my family . We were already staying in another Hotel but we moved to Eurotel for two nights. It was a mistake, the room was smaller, more expensive and almost no windows. Very tight room, and we took the most expensive room- the king
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was disgusted with how LOUD this hotel was, i had ear plugs in and i could still hear staff outside my room. the service is average and the breakfast even more average. the cost is to far above what it should be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We were welcomed by cheerful front desk officers even if was already almost midnight. It was nothing but terrible after that. The television was defective. No hot shower. They refer to covered rectagular foams as pillows. How could you sleep in those?!

The Eurotel in Baguio is decent compared with the Eurotel in Metro Manila and more expensive.I book the junior suite coz there's no available room and we had to stay because I'm tired already. The Buffet breakfast was good with few choices.

we stayed here Feb 11-12. Room size is fine with me, I expected it to be small. What I find irritating is that they did not seem to pay much attention to cleaning the room prior to allowing us to check in. There was a half empty 1.5 liter PET bottle of mineral water on the floor
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We stayed here because it was the only available accommodation we could find given our budget and the short lead time, and because I made the mistake of booking a room on Agoda and finding out that it was non-refundable. My overall review is that it's an OK place if you simply need a place to spend the night in Baguio and intend to head elsewhere in the Cordilleras. If you want to visit Baguio to experience the cool air and "outdoors" feel, do not stay here. The Studio Room (PhP 2,100/night) and Standard Twin Room (PhP 2,500/night) did not have any windows, just "blackout" glass that let light in from outside or the neighboring room. No sign on the doors to direct guests to the Fire Exit. The sheets in our room looked ratty and the towels were threadbare and small. Also, parking in the basement is quite tight if you're bringing a van. Apart from these setbacks, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the location is good if you want to stay in the heart of the city.

Our visit to Baguio City came unplanned. It was one of those moments where me and my partner decided to travel somewhere as soon as the idea rushed across our minds. Thus, we had to walk ourselves around (and up and down) the area checking every hotel/inn we saw. Eurotel was one of our primary choices but we had second thoughts due to the hotel's image unnecessarily portrayed in Manila.

At the end of our nearly 1 hour hotel searching, we decided to check-in at Eurotel. Here's the sum of our experience:

- In terms of comfort and convenience of stay, Eurotel is there. We took the Studio Type room which was very nice and overwhelmingly exceeded my expectations. Bathroom was also sanitized.
- The complimentary buffet breakfast was excellent! A good combination of local and Western servings await the guests. It's buffet so guests had to go down the dining area.
- Other hotel food options are also priced reasonably. I usually do not order in-house meals in a hotel, except during our stay here.
- Their location is perfect. A minutes-walk to Burnham Park, Baguio Orchidarium if your a green thumb, and pretty much at the center of everything.
- Plus, free wi-fi inside the hotel premises, including your room.

I shall say that their staff are courteous and effective, particularly the Front Desk Officers. Though they still lack the proper level of professionalism.
